Travel Snapshots: Hoyohoy Highland Adventure Park 12.25.11

26-Dec-11 12:19am     Outdoor / Travel, Random

Spent the Christmas day (noon – late afternoon) with family and relatives in this touristy destination.
Earlier this month, we tried to book for a night especially for this day, their discounted rate for a 6 person room was really cheap, but all of the rooms were already fully booked by a family for their clan reunions. Too bad, we liked the place so much that my dad who isn’t really fond of staying overnight at nearby places miraculously planned to have an overnight stay, what timing it was. Would really love to rent some tents for the night though.

Vacation Snapshots: Dapitan City 10.30.11

01-Nov-11 09:22am     Outdoor / Travel, Random

Had our short vacation at Dapitan City on 10.30.11 then came home the next day.
Readied everything what’s needed for our Dakak beach resort trip but ended up not going due to the overly high entrance fee.
Last time we visited was just Php200.00/person (100 for entrance, 100 for consumables), now it’s soaring like crazy amount of Php500.00, but according to the receptionist, the entrance fee is already free then the 500.00 is the consumable amount. Since we weren’t planning on staying overnight there, we gave it a no-go, it’d be waste of money if we cannot finish spending the consumable amount within the duration of stay which is just the afternoon only.
Since the plan didn’t work out, we ended up going to Dipolog City for a quick tour then go back to Dapitan late in the afternoon.
ALL photos taken with a Nikon D3000 & AF-S Nikkor 35mm 1.8G.
