Took some photos of the cutesome Sora Kasugano by Alter.
I think it’s also a good chance for me to take photos of this newly arrived figure and to test out the lighting set-up which I used to use. The photos turned out fine with the background of choice. I was surprised to see the result of the photos with this set-up during photo editing in Fireworks 8. I guess picking up this backdrop color wasn’t so bad too.
Next time I’ll be resuming my experiments with different background colors since I am glad with the result today’s figure shoot. ^^;

Oh, I didn’t know this Sora came with an alternate hair style. I thought she came with her regular twin tails.
Using colored backgrounds is a good idea for figure photography. Even more so if you use a complementary color, it really brings out in turn the colors of the figure.

Yeah but choosing the figure’s background color usually confuses me. I’ll be looking for techniques on how to choose the proper background to bring focus on the subject.
