USELESS THOUGHTS x PLAST!C REAL!TY Figure Homepage’s New Layout
Had a plan to re-design the layout of my other website for a long time now, and finally done it today.
My bro pretty much preferred the latter layout than the former. “It’s neater than the former”, he said.
I’m glad it came out just fine despite still having a boring layout…
Took me a bit/lot of time on making screens and connecting them.
What are your (viewers/readers) opinions/suggestions on this?

I think it mostly depends on what you want to focus on. The new layout seems more to focus on upcoming releases now whereas the old one pulled more attention towards your reviews. Would be cool as well if a mouseover the upcoming releases could give more info on that particular figure rather than clicking to find out more, but I don’t know if that’s too much work ^^;
But yeah, I’m fine with both layouts, just that the focus seems to have changed from what I see. Perhaps a larger pic/link to your latest review just above the upcoming releases might help? Just a beginner’s opinion though ^^;

Yeah, by mouseovering the images to show the info is quite a nice feature at the same time much of a work for my current level as I haven’t learned Php scripts… it needs a php scripts to do the feature you suggested.I think.
And have just thought of your idea to post a bigger image of the latest reviewed figure but placing it above the hobby archives.I’ll put it at that, soon. ^^

I think this layout is better. The difference in the size of the screenshots helped me decide which one to focus on. Does that make sense? lol xp plus there are more image links to previous reviews.
